SYNOPSIS
The New American Reich is a dark dystopian re-imagining of World War II with a climax that will shock you.
The story is told in a series of chapters which alternate between the 1940s and “present day” 1980. A central theme of the book is the Nazi’s use of the plundered wealth of Europe to influence the political landscape of the United States. This theme should resonate with readers as there are parallels to what is going on in the United States today.
In this suspenseful novel, Claus von Stauffenberg succeeds in assassinating Adolf Hitler on July 20, 1944 and Albert Speer becomes the new Fuhrer, leading a weakened Germany to join forces with US troops in preventing the Soviet Union from getting beyond what becomes the Iron Curtain.
Christopher Fawkes is a battle-weary Captain in the National Socialist States of America Army, well aware that his country has become merely a corrupt vassal of Nazi Germany. Fawkes wades through political intrigue, violence and heartbreak, in an effort to restore America to freedom. Along the way he finds help from unlikely people and rekindles an old romance, all while trying to stay true to his own sense of the warrior code.
